BIOGRAPHY

TAKAYUKI NAMEURA

Takayuki Nameura was born in Kobe. His innate taste for cooking led him to Osaka, to the Tsuji school, where, eager to learn, he studied European and Asian cuisine as well as Japanese techniques.

He began working in a hotel in Kobe, and was then introduced to French cuisine by a Japanese chef. Intrigued and seduced, he devoured the books of Joël Robuchon and Alain Ducasse, and at the age of 26 decided to leave for France, where he interned at the Lisita gourmet restaurant. He returned to Japan but continued to travel back and forth to France, where he worked at the Relais de Bracieux with Bernard Robin and at the Maison Chabran (Valence).

He wanted to open his own restaurant in France, but for lack of a visa, he decided to create the place of his dreams in Kobe, and the (first) Montée restaurant was born.

But in 2016, he was determined to move his restaurant to Paris. Montée opened in the 14th arrondissement. Here, chef Takayuki Nameura shares his idea of French cuisine, with particular attention paid to quality and product sourcing.

We accept lunch and dinner reservation 40 days before by internet.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation is free of charge up to 24h00 prior to your reservation.We require a credit card to secure your reservation. only in the event that you cancel or make changes after this 24 hour period or no – show  fee of 50€ per person will be debited from your card..

Your card will not be charged at the time of booking.You will pay your bill directly at the restaurant on the day of your booking.

It is important for us to know at the time of your reservation request and no later than 24 hours prior to your arrival if any guests have food allergies or intolerances, as without this information we will not be able to adjust the tasting menu served on the day of your reservation.
